MODERN DESIGN AND ADVANCED AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM

The design of the Uni HB indoor unit is designed to integrate discreetly into any home environment: clean lines, compact profile and integrated LED display with Dimmer function, to eliminate any light disturbance during the night hours.

Great attention is paid to the quality of indoor air , thanks to an advanced treatment system that combines multiple technologies:

• HI-NANO : active purification system that generates positive and negative ions capable of spreading evenly throughout the environment, helping to reduce viruses, bacteria, allergens, and polluting particles . Tests demonstrate high efficacy even against viruses such as H1N1 and SARS-CoV-2;

• Anti-mold treatment with hydrophilic aluminum (monosplit models only) : after switching off, the fan continues to run to dry the evaporator, preventing the build-up of humidity, mold and bad odors;

• Self-Clean : patented self-cleaning system which, through freezing, defrosting and high-temperature drying cycles, keeps the exchanger clean, improving efficiency, hygiene and durability over time;

Furthermore, Hisense Uni HB air conditioners do not have the active Modbus protocol as standard , but can be integrated into a BMS / Modbus system by purchasing a dedicated accessory separately (   BMS interface module (Modbus/BACnet) – Cod. B544(E)). These solutions are particularly suitable for accommodation facilities, hotels, residences, B&Bs and professional environments .

THE EXTERNAL UNIT

The outdoor unit of the Hisense Uni HB air conditioner is designed to ensure stable operation, high performance and maximum reliability in all seasons .

The Inverter heat pump system ensures continuous comfort with optimised consumption, operating efficiently with external temperatures from -15°C to +43°C in cooling and from -20°C to +24°C in heating , making it suitable even for particularly cold or hot climates.

Advanced protections and advanced construction technology

Electronic reliability is further improved thanks to the anti-corrosion protection of the outdoor unit PCB , with reinforced painting up to 50 μm , dedicated screws and sealed electrical box , designed to avoid infiltrations and damage caused by insects or external agents.

The equipment is completed by the Special Restart at 8°C function, which automatically activates the air conditioning in heating mode when the temperature drops below this threshold, protecting the rooms from frost and reducing humidity during periods of non-use, such as in the case of second homes or seasonal structures .

To increase durability over time, Hisense has equipped the Uni HB with a third-level anti-corrosion treatment on the metal parts, which creates a protective barrier against humidity, salt spray, and aggressive atmospheric agents. This feature makes the outdoor unit ideal for installations in coastal areas, industrial environments, or exposed contexts .
