Elastic antivibration joints are used with heat pumps to protect systems from sudden and uncontrolled movements, such as: compression, stretching and bending. They also perform a noise absorption function and ensure a decrease in water hammer; (In hydraulics it is defined as water hammer when a flow inside a pipeline is abruptly stopped).

The 1 elastic antivibration joints are made of EPDM rubber, the fittings are made of galvanized cast iron, and the minimum temperature supported by the joint is -10 C° while the maximum is +100 C°.
