The Caleffi 546 Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator is a device that is used to continuously eliminate air and impurities contained in air conditioning systems and, in general , in hydraulic circuits, ensuring the circulation of pure water without air bubbles. For operation, the Caleffi 546 Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator uses the combination of several physical principles: as a deaerator (or deaerator), it is able to eliminate the air present in the circuits, bringing it to the level of micro-bubbles, automatically . Inside, a metal mesh creates swirling movements that generate micro-bubbles which, joining together, create a force that will push them upwards. The microbubbles will then be evacuated via a vent valve. In the dirt separator function, the Discaldirt instead separates the impurities present in the circuit water and collects them in the lower part of the valve body, from which they can then be discharged.
In this way the climate control system will be able to function optimally without problems of corrosion, noise, overheating and mechanical damage.
The Caleffi 546 Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator can be completed with the appropriate insulation (code CBN546002 to be purchased separately) which will guarantee complete thermal insulation and better functioning both when used with hot and cold water.
The Caleffi 546 Discaldirt deaerator-dirt separator is designed to allow easy maintenance and cleaning operations without the need to shut down the system or disassemble the piece.
